Abstract

We wish to clarify that mass accumulation rates in this Article were calculated using dry bulk densities from Michael Vanden Berg (personal communication) and that the method used for calculating the calcite compensation depth (CCD) in Fig. 1a (linear extrapolation of the CCD) is detailed in a forthcoming publication.
