Abstract

Multilayer barium titanate capacitors with magnetostrictive nickel electrodes are room-temperature magnetoelectric detectors [Israel, Mathur, and Scott, Nature Materials 7, 93 (2008)]. Here we report their electrical properties, including activation energy and breakdown parameters up to 325°C (600K).
